Six planets in their own signs July 2nd

This month starts out with a very special transit, with six planets at home in their own signs! This includes Mars in Aries, Venus in Taurus, Mercury in Gemini, Moon in Cancer, Saturn in Aquarius and Jupiter in Pisces. Seeing as this time, Jupiter and Saturn are two of the planets, this is an especially uncommon transit, as it takes Jupiter 12 years to complete one cycle through the zodiac, and Saturn 29 years.

This will only last for just under 24 hours, between 07:00 July 2nd and 03:00 July 3rd (CET), when Mercury has moved into Gemini, before the Moon changes signs into Leo, but this window is a perfect opportunity to use the energy to manifest what it is that you want to create, so take the time to meditate, write or visualize your desires during this time!

When a planet is at home in its own sign, there is often a sense of stability, because the planet is in its natural element, it knows how to operate within its own sign, the energy is familiar and there is a sense of security with this placement, especially when in a natal chart. When there is four or more planets in their own signs, there is usually a very strong sense of stability around this person, he/she are confident with their abilities, has a stable mind and there’s a calmness to their presence, they just naturally know how to operate and carry themselves.

When this happens by transit, there’s an opportunity for us to expand our sense of knowing with each of the planets, of getting more in touch with the natural elements of each planet and how they operate. In this way we can also get a sense of where we are out of alignment, and in what areas we might need more balance in our lives.

Saturn retrograde in Capricorn July 12th

During this month Saturn, currently on its retrograde journey, will transit ‘backwards’ into the sign of Capricorn, revisiting the themes that has been prominent during these past two and a half years. This may come as an unwelcome change in energy, because of the relief we might’ve felt when Saturn finally moved into the sign of Aquarius this spring. But, this is an opportunity to really consider and reevaluate everything pertaining to freedom vs authority that has been on the forefront during this time, and to ask ourselves which obligations we’re willing to stand by and how much we value our personal freedom.

Saturn is a planet of routines, obligations and also restrictions, so consider which parts of your life might be influenced by these qualities, and what you would like to these areas to look like for you in the future. Saturn gives long-term results and rewards persistence, just as it deals with those things that we do every single day, so reevaluate your routines and obligations and let go of what you no longer wish to keep in the future.

Because of this imminent shifts, I would recommend to use the powerful energies that will be in effect in the beginning of the month to create a positive vision for yourself, of what you’d like your future to be like and what you’d wish to create, and keep that close to your heart, because I’ve got a feeling that the second half of this month might be a bit more challenging. Our faith might be tested, we could feel more restricted and things could feel like they’re slowing down with Saturn retrograde passing back into Capricorn, throughout the end of summer and into October.

Venus moves into Gemini July 13th

Venus will move into Gemini on July 13th, bringing some new inspiration and creativity into our mental sphere, providing an opportunity for creative projects and new ideas. Venus is the most social planet, and in the airy sign of Gemini can be even more extroverted, so this is a transit that can bring a lot of outgoing energy and social interactions.

There will be an exact conjunction between Uranus and Rahu at the end of the month, on July 31st, that will also be in a close conjunction with Mars, in Bharani nakshatra in the sign of Aries. This particular nakshatra is ruled by the deity Yama, the god of death, and this conjunction can set in motion sudden changes and unexpected, new beginnings. This nakshatra represents the birthing of new creations, but also the necessary death of something that makes new beginnings possible.

As my final words this month, I’d say do what you can to keep a calm mind through all these ups and downs, and let’s use this Saturn transit for our own spiritual growth. Look inward, face your fears and be resilient, we are our own authority!
