Planetary transits for June 2022
❧ Mercury direct in Taurus June 3
❧ Saturn Retrograde in Aquarius June 5

❧ Venus in Taurus June 19
❧ Mars in Aries June 28

This month feels like the lull between two waves, where we might find some much needed peace and calm in between the major changes and cycles we’ve been going through so far this year!
First off, we have Mercury going direct June 3rd, slowly starting to pick up speed as we get further into the month, making us want to get on with practical matters and new ideas. Perhaps there’s been a decision that you’ve been contemplating during Mercury’s retrograde cycle, that now is ready to take form. This is the time to look forward, plan ahead and get going with practical matters!
The major transit this month will be the one where Saturn starts its retrograde journey (as seen from the earth), moving back over the first couple of degrees of Aquarius again (these are sidereal transits!). Saturn’s cycle of retrograde will go on until it moves back into Capricorn in the month of July, where it will remain until January next year, making us revisit the themes of governmental authority and power structures that has been prominent these last two years.
Saturn retrograde provides us the opportunity to reevaluate and revisit all of our commitments and obligations, and with Saturn ‘moving backwards’ through the beginning degrees of Aquarius and into Capricorn tells me that there is something about how we perceive freedom versus obligations that is in need of further investigation. Saturn returns to Aquarius next year, bringing our revised ideas to the forefront, so make use of this time to get clear about what it is that you want to create.
We have two planets going into their own signs this month as well, starting with Venus going into Taurus June 19 and then followed by Mars moving into Aries on June 28. This theme of planets in their own sign will go on into July, with six planets in their own sign! There will be more on that in next month’s update. In the case of Venus in Taurus and Mars in Aries, this is a positive transit seeing as Mars will be in its mulatrikona sign (own sign of strength) as well.
This is a month for putting forth whatever you wish to manifest, to immerse yourself in your creativity and for developing and strengthening your unique gifts and individuality. Mars in Aries calls us to courageously step forth with our ideas, to take charge and move forward in our desired direction. Venus in Taurus calls us to enjoy the little things in life, to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.
Jupiter moves along in Pisces, where it was just fired up by Mars’ transit there as well, urging us to go deeper into our spirituality, firing up our beliefs and practices, infusing them with the fiery passion of Mars. Jupiter’s transit through Pisces, which will continue until next year, will help us keep a positive outlook and vision for what we wish to create.
Take the time to go deep within yourself and find your joy this month, create a positive vision for yourself that you can keep with you in your heart, because I suspect that after the month of July when Saturn retrograde goes back into the sign of Capricorn will bring back challenges that test our faith.
So as my final words I would say, enjoy this month, find the dream in your heart and stay centered!
