This Full Moon of 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐮𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 in Virgo will be in the nakshatra Uttara Phalguni, called ‘the star of patronage’. This is a nakshatra of humanitarian action, which is also seen by the fact that its presiding deity is Aryaman; the god of kindness, providing a charitable and gracious nature to this nakshatra. Aryaman also rules social contracts and acting righteously, which is why this nakshatra is also about the different types of 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 we enter into, in business or in marriage.

The creative force that was ignited and harbored in Purva Phalguni, takes form and direction into practical manifestations in Uttara Phalguni – this is where we commit to actualizing our creations, and working with them long-term.

The ruler of this nakshatra is the Sun, providing 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 and the energy needed to pursue our goals. The Sun is a sattwic planet that, when in its highest nature, makes us charitable, generous and true to our hearts.

The symbols for this nakshatra are the back legs of a cot, of which the front legs are the symbol for the previous nakshatra Purva Phalguni and together they form the four legs of a bed, which is the symbol of 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐮𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. In the mythological stories it is said that Shiva and Shakti started their marriage procession in Purva Phalguni and finalizing the union in Uttara Phalguni.
